Our Conservative Association
The North Vancouver-Capilano Conservative Association fosters support in our federal electoral district for the Conservative Party of Canada. We are a group of hardworking volunteers who are committed to ensuring that we have a strong and beneficial Conservative representation in the House of Commons.
Our Electoral District
North Vancouver-Capilano is our current federal electoral district. Since 1988, this vibrant and diverse district, home to some 116,055 individuals, has been represented by the Conservative Party of Canada and its precursor parties for 22 of the last 30 years.
Communities and First Nations which are included in the North Vancouver-Capilano EDA are:
That part of Metro Vancouver Electoral Area A lying easterly of the Capilano River and westerly of the Indian River and Indian Arm, including Croker Island; that part of the District Municipality of North Vancouver lying westerly and northerly of a line described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the northerly limit of said district municipality with Lynn Creek; thence generally southerly along said creek to a point at approximate latitude 49°22'12"N and longitude 123°02'06"W; thence southerly in a straight line to a point on Mountain Highway at approximate latitude 49°21'31"N and longitude 123°02'08"W; thence southerly along said highway to Lynn Valley Road; thence southwesterly along said road to 29th Street East; thence westerly along said street to the limit of said district municipality, that being the northeast corner of the City of North Vancouver; that part of the District Municipality of West Vancouver lying southerly and easterly of a line described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the easterly limit of said district municipality and Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway, Upper Levels Highway); thence generally northwesterly along said highway to 21st Street; thence southerly along said street and its production to the southerly limit of said district municipality; the City of North Vancouver; and Capilano Indian Reserve No. 5.
